Legible London

inmidtown aims to improve the quality of signage to make it easier for pedestrians to find their way to and through the district. Working with TfL and Camden Council, we have developed ways of providing coordinated walking information that embraces the whole of the district, with benefits for the transport system, public health, the economy, tourism and the environment.

Synergy with Legible London, part of the Mayor’s vision for a more pedestrian friendly capital, is an important part of our strategy.  We have already integrated Legible London onto our streets in partnership with Camden Council and TfL, into our website and printed material, in particular, our local maps, 1,300 of which are handed out to visitors each week from the information kiosk outside Holborn tube station.
